On January 15, 2026, Pillsbury partner Scott Flick will speak at the 2026 Annual Meeting of the New York State Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Section.

The topic of the panel discussion is “Monopolizing the Conversation: Is Free Speech an Antitrust Issue?”  The session will examine the federal government’s efforts to leverage antitrust laws and tools to address claimed failures in the free speech “marketplace.”  The panel will focus on these efforts and whether the antitrust laws are an appropriate tool for addressing free speech concerns.
